Dear Parents and Students:

As principal of Westlake High School, I bring you greetings on behalf of the Westlake High School faculty, staff, and administrative team. Westlake High School as a progressive institution of learning is committed to your child's educational experience through the execution of a rigorous and diverse curriculum, dedicated and knowledgeable staff, and viable school/community partnership.

Our Vision/Mission for the Westlake learning community is:

In keeping with this mission, we are proud to announce our school uniform program at Westlake High School. We believe that our students should create a favorable image for both themselves and the school at all times. Therefore, we strongly encourage our students to dress appropriately and take pride in their appearance. Parents, we ask for your support in this important initiative that has the propensity to positively impact our school culture, climate, and pride. Students are strongly encouraged to adhere to the following Westlake High School uniform practice:

· Monday - Uniform
· Tuesday - Uniform
· Wednesday - Professional Dress Day
· Thursday - Uniform
· Friday - Spirit Day or College Day

We have partnered with Optima Uniforms ( CLICK HERE ) to make your purchasing experience convenient. We invite and implore every parent to come out and see the new line of Westlake Attire. Orders can be placed with an Optima representative on July 13th, 27th and 30th in the auditorium atrium from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Products will be available to view and try on each night. Orders for the academic year 2009-10 must be received by July 30 in order to be available before the beginning of the school year.
